How to Use KT Connect!

How to check your student out using Express Check out:

1. Open KT Connect on your mobile device

2. Select a child's icon at the top of the homepage

3. Select On my way!  button when leaving your residence or work

4. Select I'm here!  button when you are near your child's school/center

5. Select the Check out button for each child you are checking out

FAQs About Express Check out:

  • What if I do not see my child's icon at the top of the homepage?
    • If you do not see a round picture of your student at the top of the homepage or their initials in a round circle then you are not a primary contact. If this is a mistake you will need the current primary contact to update your contact status by contacting LEAP admin.
  • Who should be labeled as a primary contact?
    • Primary contacts should be anyone who is picking your student up weekly or more that you are comfortable with having access to billing, messaging, and the rest of the features included with that status. Secondary contacts can be added for occasional pickups or emergency situations without full account access.

Instructions for Secondary Contact Check out:

1. Open KT Connect on your mobile device

2. Select the Check In/Check out button

3. Request a QR code from the Site Director at your student's pick up location

4. Scan the QR code and press Check out

Making Payments in KT Connect:

Step 1: Open your KT Connect app and select the Billing title

Step 2: Tap Payment Methods and complete the necessary fields to add a credit card or bank account prior to attempting to make a payment

Step 3: When a payment method has been added, you can select Make a payment, then select Manage autopay to enable autopay for your account

Step 4: Go ahead and pay your bill by tapping on the Pay Now button

FAQs For making payments in KT Connect:

What if I am associated with more then one account?

      • 1. From the home screen select Total Amount Due,
      • 2. You will be able to view both account and the amount due for each,
      • 3. Select the account you'd like to pay the balance for
      • 4. Proceed with the steps above to make a payment
  • How can I split payments with another parent?
    • Each parent should add a payment method on their app, but do NOT select autopay. Otherwise the system will trigger a payment for the full amount. When your billing due date approaches, each parent will enter the amount they wish to pay and make a manual payment using their payment method on file
  • When do I need to set up autopay by?
    •  Autopay must be set up in KT Connect prior to getting your bill. For instance, payment is due the Friday before care every week, so autopay would need to be set up no later than Wednesday in order for it to process through autopay. Failure to set autopay up prior to receiving the bill will result in autopay not running for that billing cycle.

  • Can other people on our account make a payment with my credit card or bank account information?
    • No, each person has their own secure login credentials, regardless of family account affiliation. Only the person that has entered the payment method may use that method to initiate payment.
